Our Values
Sunday Worship Services
It's a joy and privilege to gather to worship our Lord and Saviour each week. Our desire is that believers might be encouraged, equipped and strengthened in their faith, and that seekers might hear and understand the wonder of the gospel. As part of our corporate worship gathering, we prioritise singing, prayer, the preaching of the scriptures. We gather for communion at least once a month, and we value time to connect and encourage each other during and after the service.

We meet Sundays, 9:30am at Belmont State School in Carindale, in the Multi-purpose Centre.
Leadership
We believe Jesus is the head of the church, and in scripture we are given God's good design of how the church should function. Redemption Baptist Church is led by pastors/elders are called to faithfully and humbly lead the church.
Pastor
Daniel Sercombe
Dan is the planting Pastor of Redemption Baptist Church, and prior to that he served as the campus pastor of Cannon Hill Baptist Church for 5 years.
He worked as a journalist before receiving the call to study at Bible College. He completed his MDiv at QLD Theological College (QTC) in 2017. Dan loves seeing people grow in their walk with Jesus, and is passionate about teaching the bible.
Dan is married to Rachel and they have 4 boys.

Elder
Tom Sun
Tom has been involved in church ministry leadership for a number of years, and has been part of Redemption since its formation in 2022.
He is passionate about seeing God's church thrive, and believers grasping the wonder and truth of scripture. He has done theological studies at Malyon College, and works as a secondary school teacher.
Tom is married to Skye and they have four children.
